Oral Surgery

The Oral Surgery service is run independently of the Practice at large, does not have registered patients and is carried out on dedicated treatment sessions only. Patients are however able to contact the Practice during opening hours, Monday to Friday.

You have been referred to us for Oral Surgery, either with or without sedation as it has been determined after assessment that you require treatment that your dentist is unable to provide.

We receive referrals from a central hub which we put onto a waiting list. When it is your turn, we will contact you, usually by text message, and invite you for an assessment appointment.

Your Assessment Appointment

Your assessment appointment will involve an examination, X-rays as necessary and a diagnosis. Your treatment options will be discussed with you and when you have agreed to have the treatment, a suitable appointment will be arranged. Occasionally, there may be a need to modify your treatment plan. Sometimes, when we find that you are better treated in a hospital setting, your referral will be forwarded there.

There will not be any treatment provided at the sedation assessment visit.

General Dentistry Treatments

IV Sedation

We can offer adult patients who are anxious about dental treatment the opportunity to have their treatment carried out under intravenous sedation.

Dentures

Dentures are removable appliances that are made for your mouth to replace missing teeth

Root Canal Treatment

This dental procedure used to treat infection at the centre of a tooth

Fillings

White or tooth coloured composite filling materials are made from a mixture of a resin base filled with glass type particles

Tooth Extraction

In certain instances if a tooth cannot be saved then removal is required

Emergency Treatment

Dental pain can affect your sleep and day to day life. It is always a good idea to get it treated as soon as possible

Bridge

A bridge is a fixed dental restoration that replaces missing teeth

Crown

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is cemented over a tooth. It covers the tooth and restores its shape, size, strength and/or improves its appearance

The staff are friendly, helpful and give good advice. Laiba (Hygienist), Hana (Hygienist) and Dr Ross Hepton (dentist) have provided good service for me today and in the past and other hygienists were good too and I rarely see the Dentist as a result. I would recommend them as where I went many years ago was nowhere near as good.

I have been on a total teeth journey with Dr Ross Hepton over the past year or so, and he has completely transformed my smile. From my Invisalign treatment through to composite bonding, Ross was always professional, knowledgeable and incredibly thorough every step of the way. I recently visited The Dental Practice for a tooth cleaning, which was recommended to help stabilise my tooth in preparation for root canal treatment in a couple of months. Aisha was excellent—she was caring, professional, and explained everything clearly throughout the procedure, which really put me at ease. Sajida was also wonderful and made the visit even more pleasant by being so friendly and playful with my 7-month-old son. Overall, I had a very positive experience at The Dental Practice and felt well looked after. I look forward to my upcoming appointments with Aisha and Sajida. Thank you for the excellent care!

I have had a very pleasant experience as an overseas patient with Dr. Ross and this clinic. He carried out a root canal treatment on my tooth, which unfortunately later developed complications despite the odds. What stood out to me was how professionally and fairly the situation was handled. Without me even requesting it, Dr. Ross went above and beyond to ensure I was supported moving forward, which I truly appreciated.

Had my usual check up today and it went smoothly and on time.. Dr Ahmad is a brilliant dentist , always friendly and polite. I was also seen by the hygienist . She was such a lovely lady and her assistant was also friendly and smiley. She put me at ease right away as I was a bit nervous and answered all my questions and recommended products that I enquired about. Fantastic ❤️
